I have a 06 Fat Boy and would like to change the rear blinkers. I have detachable bags on the bike and have a signal relocation kit from HD. The blinkers are sticking 3 inches or so away from the bike. I don't really care for the look. I'm looking for something that brings the blinkers in closer to the bike. Any suggestions or pics would be appreciated.
My 06 has relocating hardware and the lights are much closer than other kits I have seen, only about a one inch spacer. They must have more than one kit. Try ACE Hardware. They have a great selection of chrome spacers, use a shorter spacer?
Also, a run/turn/brake module with quality LED's is a vast improvement over stock.
I have some no name signals off of ebay. Here is a pic. If you need a link let me know. I think they were $20. I had to get some longer bolts to mount them as the ones that came with the signals were not long enough to reach through the fender and struts. A quick trip to the local custom shop took care of that. I used a nut as a spacer on each side. I don't run saddlebags, but am sure that you could with these.
