Yep... went to move the wires off the engine after the tech put in a new ignition module. He moved the wires and didn't see he had them resting on the head... and "snap" went one of the posts. Hardly even twisted it. Question... obviously needs to be replaced, however, any temp solutions? liquid weld? Vibration will eventually work it off I'm sure, but hey, I want to ride and the summer is almost over. I have half the mind to call up the dealership and complain the reasoning, but F them. They get no more of my time since this is the fifth issue/cause due to them monkeying with my bike.
ANYone replaced one on a 94 fatboy? Used offbrand that worked nice... anyone want to sell one cheap... I'm all ears man.
Let me know if you need pics... but the manual points at it as the coil... and I don't have a assembly manual. But the spark wires go into this unit.

yea... you aren't kidding. I'm learning as I go... glad I have some experience working on cars. I won't name names, not that kind of guy. Crappy thing is waited two weeks for the ignition module and my bike. Had it out today and bam... any word on the temp ideas?
Pulled the damn thing already... taking it in see what kind of profit they can make off me again.
I just had to buy one or my 2000 Night Train recently. I think it was gonna be around $112.00 at stealership. I got it for around $70.00 shipped to my door from ebay. It only took a couple of days to get it shipped. Look on ebay and get one. Install it your self either way. It only takes a few minutes. Then you want be waiting on stealership.
