I don't believe they make a 68 tooth pulley to accomodate the belt width on the 06 Softail. Now I could be wrong on this but if there is one I haven't heard about it.

why do you want a smaller pulley? I wanted a lower gear ratio so i got a tire that is 1.1 in lower and it gave me 4% less mph at same rpm. i have a chart that will calculate that info

with a smaller pully/spocket you lower the rpm, you can rev it higher get more rpm out of her "with the right cam" you will also go faster. You can have a small motor, spend less money and get the same performance or more depending what you do to her.It will keep up with the big motor boys.Plus it will be lighter then the big motors.Yeah off the line might suffer but in the long run its all ok

I know they make a 68 tooth for a dyna, and they make a 68 international for softails but no one can get a part number for the international 68 for the softail.I know i can get a 34 tooth for the front.I realy dont want to crack the primay.Plus going up 2 in the front is like going down 4 on the rear.

i think you should read this before you do something like that
http://www.nightrider.com/biketech/hdengines.htm
you could get a taller tire for less and then if you dont like it you can change back or get a 6 speed transmission
