Both look better than stock IMO. Have had both. Changed when I got new wheels. Got new rotors at the same time and went with the matching pulley.

When I had the rear end chromed out, since it was all apart, I went ahead and had my pulley chromed.

The covers look great...until you look at it from the other side of the bike. It all depends on how insane in the membrane you want to take the chrome addiction :).

i was going to mismatch and get a solid chrome for the pulley cover but the dealer wanted the same $ 60 labor to install it even if the tire was off. i will wait until i get a jack stand and do it my self

Go for the real one .Dont forget with the spoke rims you will be able to see that it is a cover from the other side.

had a chrome cover on mine and decided to go black, the cover is good for trapping moisture and allowing oxidation to begin

Same here...i put a cover on and chrome bolts for a fraction of the price of a chrome pulley. The covers wrap around nicely. Can't even tell it's a cover. Looks good to me.

They are just the die-cast covers HD part #41705-09 and i got them new from e-bay for about $15.00 shipped. I could have bought the billet ones for quadruple the price but didn't. Im cheap...Can't tell the difference from the outside at all.

You can get a DNA super spoke pulle for $100 - $150, or you can get a set of matching rotors and the pulley for like $275 on ebay.
