I was looking at a Coss Bones And a Springer Classic and it looks to me like the are the same bike. looks to me like the only difference is stuff like fenders, dash ,seat and handlebars... what do yall think? is the Bones its own bike orkinda pulled from another?

Its its own bike! I own an 05 fxsts and I think it shares alot of similarities with other softails....basically everything from a fxstc but with springer front end. look around most if not all HDs borrow and trade from each other. Both the bikes in question are bad ass. Im biased though i own a springer

Using this rational, nearly all Harley's are pulled from another. The Rocker was a nice departure however. That said, I like my Cross Bones, but was after a FL Softail Springer to build on rather than a bobber.

Agree but even the rocker is sporting the Deuce tank. That's what gives Harley the huge aftermarket following they have. If they changed things up so much the market would not be able to keep up.

Heck, a Heritage and a FatBoy are the same exact motorcycle other than cosmetics. Different fender, seat, tires, wheels...just a different overall theme but the same exact bike otherwise.

It seems all Harleys share a lot of the same characteristics especially the softail models.I looked online for weeks at the X-bones and the Deluxe before I went to the dealership. They sat them next to each other for me and let me ride both of them. The X-bones rides like a champ but in the end the overall look of the Deluxe won out for me.. With all that being said. If your looking to buy and you like the look (because the quality is for sure there brother) then get the Bones without a doubt...

The king of the road is the Softail Springer. Every other bike wants to look like a Springer.
