Default 21 inch front wheel on Deluxe?

Okay guys I'm going to put a 21 inch spoke wheel on my bike. I've looked around on the sight and around the web and I cant figure something out. I have my stock front rim from my 2006 Softail NightTrain which is a 21x2.15. I wonder if I can use it on my 2006 Softail Deluxe? Anybody every tried it?

I put a 21 inch from a 03 fxst on my 06 Fatboy. Uses all the same spacers and everything. I also changed to the small front fender like on the fxst. The problem I had is the fender mounts on the FL legs are 3/4 inch lower than the FX legs so The fender was rubbing the tire. Made some spacers and fixed that problem. i do not know if you can use the stock FL style fender.

From what I have read it looks like its not going to be a problem even if I do have to relocate the fender.

He can use the stock front fender, without having to do anything to the mounts.

As everyone else said, the stock fender will fine.

With those Long Shot pipes, a 21" front will look really nice.

As the others have stated its a direct swap, no mods required.
