Default relocating front turn signals Fat Boy

I have a 2008 Fat Boy and would like to relocate the front turn signals to the forks. I have seen a thread somewhere on the HD forums but can't seem to find it now. When you remove the light housing from the handle bars, what do you do with the wires? Thanks in advance for any tips.

Default Turnsignals

This is another way to mount the passing lamps and signals. Just an idea to consider.

The wires have to be cut a few inches from the turn signal and then pulled through the handlebars and re-routed to your new location. Here you will reconnect the wire to the turn signal (solder or crimp connectors) Make sure you leave the wires long enough that they are not bothered by turning.

What if anything did you have to rewire?

You should start your own thread, this one is 13 years old, and the poster hasn't been on in 8 years.
