Default Opinion on pipes

Ok looking for opinion's on pipes. Been looking for long shot's. On e bay they have them from Hooker at a great price. But they say for 96 ci and up I have a stock 88. Will it really hurt the low end alot or not. The one's for 88 have 2.5 inch pipes so are the 96. thanks

the main diff is prolly the type of baffle to control back pressure, if they are alot cheaper on ebay u might still save money by buying the 88ci baffles seperately...just guessing though im no exhaust expert

The main difference in pipes are 02 sensor ports are installed on newer bikes pipes. Check this out and make sure you get what you need.
You can buy 02 sensor plugs for pipes if your bike is not equipped with them and the new pipes have these ports.

I got a set of Hookers off ebay. The rebel longs. They gave my bike a hell of a lot more power than I had before. They will work fine on your bike. The chrome is actually really nice on the, They even come with the gaskets, c clips, and new flanges as well. I thought it was nice to get that stuff with the exhaust for a change. Just know slaes are final on the hookers as they no longer make motorcycle exhaust. You can't go wrong for $100.
