I got "Tek Leather or the Edge Bags" along with Ghost Brackets with rot proof sticthing. Cost right at $500 bux for both items but wayyyy worth every cent spent on them. Low if any maintenance on them, other than wiping them off with a damp cloth don't want nothing I have to put mink oil on, too much up-keep on real leather. I see that Kuryakyn is now carrying them too. Met the guys that own the company too, very standup individuals. Bags are on or off in less than 30 seconds and they lock as well.
Very satisified.

I've got two sets for mine. Typically the hard bags just stay on constantly as I make a lot of road trips and such (Cant' wait to get a street glide next year for the added comfort) but sometimes I strip it down and run it naked for a while and then I just throw the leather ones on if I need to carry something.
Lucky 7 Cycles in Ft Worth is painting an extended rear fender for me right now, should have it ready and installed as soon as I get back in from work and it'll look better with the hard bags then as it will be around 2 inches lower than the bags.
And with the soft bags.

I don't see the Mustang logo on the front of the seat. It looks deeper, with a higher back and thicker passenger seat, than my Regal Duke. I had a seat made by BAR Enterprises a few years ago, that had the same general shape to it, and they did offer a button top option. The model was called "Hitchhiker". I'm guessing that's what it is. They don't seem to be in business anymore, though.
I found a picture of a pillow top Hitchhiker seat online (this one is for 84 - 99 Softails, but you can see the general way they shaped their Softail seats):
This is what my Regal Duke (extra wide) looks like. You can see that the "bucket isn't a deep, the passenger seat isn't as thick, and the back isn't a high:
And here's my old BAR Enterprises Hitchhiker seat. I ordered it "plain", but you can see the general shape is similar, with the deeper bucket, higher back, and thicker passenger seat:
Cheers!
