Default Progressive Drop-ins on a Deluxe

Progressive made this out to be an easy swap and apparently on the Deluxe its just the opposite of easy. What all is involved with swapping the front springs? I have a 15 Deluxe and from what I can tell I'll either have to drop the forks or remove all the lights and chrome covers on the front end then remove the top clamp of the triple tree. Anybody know an easier way to do it? I got my bars off now but stopped after I determined this wasn't gonna be an easy swap

Thanks

I didn't remove my headlight but it would've made it alittle easier if I did. Probably wouldn't have sliced my hand open requiring 6 stitches if I had've too. LOL

I didn't remove the forks from the bike itself. Its not really that bad of a project just take your time.
