I'm ordering new wheels to be made (Fat 50 spoke style) for my 2005 Fatboy. It looks like the stock wheels (front and rear) are 16" x 3". I want to go to an 18" size on both. Can anyone tell me if going to a 3.5" width on the front and a 4.0" width on the rear presents any problems? If those sizes aren't a problem, what tire size would be the best choice to put on the new rims?

You can do a 16x3.5 on the front and an 18x4.25 on the rear. Where are you ordering your wheels from?

I received a quote of $1,600 for 18 x 3.5 and 18 x 4.25 black spoked 50Fat wheels.
