Default Chrome Mod of the Day, New Rear Axle Covers (Pictures)

I have had numerous people tell me that my old HD axle covers (HD part # 48112-00) were to big or made my chrome swingarm look more like a cover than the real thing. So I decided to go with HD part #48109-03A.
I looked around on good old ebay and found these at a deal. They kind of clean up the rear a little and you can look at the chrome swingarm and see now its not a cover and the real thing. In other words my old axle covers are made to cover a painted swingarm more and the new covers are made to compliment a chrome swingarm more. I might be throwing away money, but I'm just trying to get the little details on my bike the way I want them.
Here are a few before and after pictures.

I like the smaller ones better too. I had the same covers in black on mine last year now just went to the small caps in black and think they look better. The old ones are just too big

Very nice! It's unreal that Harley put a $200 price tag on those.
