I've seen a bunch of them post questions in the Softail section, a lot of the same stuff we figured out years ago

 

Low 40's hi 30's, I'm in the heated gear and on the road!

 

I've had no work done on the engine at all, in fact, the most significant repair was replacing a sheared pinch bolt that holds the right fork (behind the nacelle), a problem my mechanic has seen on other softails over the years. Bought her used in January 2013 with 2,200 miles and the bike has been virtually trouble free and a joy to own and ride.

 

I'll ride with temps like that but the OL won't then I have to hear that I went for a ride without her. I did an endurance ride on the Lo the Sunday before Thanksgiving when the temp was 36. We did over 200 miles and a lot of that was highway. No heated gear though

 

I used to think heated gear was for posers and pussies. Then i got some. I'm now firmly in the poser/***** camp i guess.

 

Nothing poser or ***** about it, I've just spent so much on mods that there's nothing left to buy heated gear

 

Just a rider who loves riding.

 

Same here i just like riding bikes...

 

i have had a bunch of bikes, not all harleys. to me, it doesn't matter. i get out and enjoy myself riding alone or with friends.
