Default TBW/FBW bars on throttle by cable bike

I am eyeing the factory Road Glide bars because they look like they might alleviate my back discomfort because of my short arms. On long rides I get some burning between my shoulder blades. I have a 2002 fatboy so it is cable throttle and the RG bars are throttle/fly by wire. I was wondering if some simple mods would allow me to mount them on my 2002 fatboy.

How many miles do you have riding with thos bars. I've had the same experience riding a new t9 me bike with slightly different bars. But after a couple linger runs, my muscles adjust and all is well. I had the same issue with my 2019 FLHTP and the stock bars. One long 300 mile run was painful, and needed stops. But the ride home was fine, and rode 150 miles before stopping.

No problem with the handlebar notches. But beware the divot you’ll need in the bars for the wires out of the switches.

Are the "plugs" necessary? What about the "pin" that protrudes from the RG bars? Can it be ground off?
