This is what I use for throttle control. Works fairly well, cheap and innocuous. Also available on ebay and other places. Comes chrome finish or black.

How do yo like them so far? Do they give enough throw to go from a free-turning throttle to locked in place enough?

 

checked into both of those. although i'm 6'1, you had better have some really long legs for those.

i took a pitcure of what i bought but didn't have time to send it to my computer, but i will tonight. mine is just a replacement for the wheel, but does the same as what you got Joe.

The Klever Lever works fine and for under ten bucks and no real modification, what have you to lose by trying it? I do not use it for extended periods, only to give my hand/wrist a short break on long rides. Yes, if installed as directed, these simple devices lock the throttle. However, unlike electronic cruise control, unless you're in the middle of Iowa or somewhere the ground is really flat, you'll soon other be losing or gaining elevation and you'll want to take back control of the throttle to maintain speed. It's no replacement for electronic cruise control, that's for sure.

 

Indeed, same function but what you bought is obviously a better product although a bit more obtrusive.

 

yeah,because with road conditions it will tend to move a bit and you'll have to make adjustment.. but they work good enough to get that cramp out.. i don't get much cramping, i use smaller grips. Kuryakyn has those big rubbery ones that take a lot to get your hand around.you're not holding onto something that bigger than your palm for to long. i use these.

The Klever Lever generally keeps the throttle locked, it's rare that it moves because of road conditions. However, a little uphill or downhill and pretty soon you're going faster or slower than you want, so you either then need to take over control or change the throttle speed and lock the lever again.

The Klever Lever does not replace the existing wheel, it fits right over it.
