What kinda synthetic oil ya use?
 

I'm NOT an oil freak. but my last two changes I switched to synthetic oil. guy at my local shop sold it and swore by it. since then I've moved, so no more amsoil from him. mobil 1?? whats a good option? I don't need to pay for harley synthetic just for a name.

I buy Amsoil mc oil at the local NAPA for $9.95/qt. It's a nationwide chain - give it a try.

My riding buddies an I have used Mobile 1 15-50 for years. Buy it at Wal-mart in 5 quart jug for about $24.00, $20.00 on sale.

Amsoil, getting harder to find. Next would be Mobile 1.

M 1 VT works for me (@Walmart, $8.99 qt.), Klotz in the chain case and Amsoil in the tranny.

i went from amsoil to mobil 1 because of price and also more places have it. the last oil i used was belray because 4 qt for $30 delivered from ebay, i use motorfactory for the chain and belray gear saver for the trans. check some local indi shops where you are at or autozone

well, I used to pour amsoil into all three. tranny, motor, primary. just what my local shop guy did. worked good for a few years!
