Default Night Train With Fat Boy Rim

Hey dudes

I haven't posted for a while because the computer shat itself so now I am using the daughters. Anyway a mate of mine just changed his Fatboy rear rim and offered my his (new) old one for my Night Train. The rim is brand new 09 model with the holes in it and my dealer reckons it will take about 1/2 hour to fit to my 09 Night Train.

Does anyone have any pictures of the same rim on their Night Train and what are peoples thoughts on the change. Didn't really wan't to do it but the coating on the rims are different. The one on the my Night Train just doesn't clean up as it is not chrome like the Fatboy rim and it's starting to look dull.

I have a 07 Softtail Satandard and an 07 Night Train rear wheel will not fit in it. Trust me we tried. Night Train wheel is a little bit wider and wouldn't fit into the swingarm. Good luck and let us know how it worked out.

Yeah I will let you know, maybe they changed the complete rear end to the same on both the 09 Train and FB. They are both 200mm rear tyres and the dealer says no worries, straight swap.

I priced having my other rim chromed and it was going to cost about $1000 AUD, including frieght to and from the East Coast.... This rim off my mates Fatboy it is brand new and he gave it too me, goto love your mates don't you!!!
