Default Help with forward control to floorboard conversion

Looking for some advice...Looking to convert my 1999 night train forward controls to floorboards. Have a chance to pick up a complete set off of a 1998 Fatboy on ebay at a reasonable price. Does anyone know how difficult the conversion will be and if this set of of the 1998 fatboy will work?? Also, can I use my existing master cylinder or not?? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated....Thanks!

I don't know about the master cylinder, but 98 and 99 fatboys use the same brackets. They should bolt right up to the frame. Don't forget to get some Harley Goodies floorboard extensions.

The answer to your questions are yes and yes. I switched from stock pegs on an '05 FXST to boards off of a heritage. I used my original master cylinder too. Word of advice, get a new banjo bolt. Should be all you need. Hope this helps.
