Will Dyna Pipes fit a softail?

My bud has a brand new set of screaming eagle pipes that came off his 04 dyna, He offered them to me and I have a 05 deluxe I am in need of new pipes but am unsure if they will fit. they look as if they may. Anyone know?

NOPE ! Won't fit.

Thank you. Is it because of the brackets? Or is it just the overall configuration.

I believe the brackets. Dynas and softails are 2 totally different frames/designs.

thats funny because I have soft tail pipes on my dyna right now, just a minor mod needed to make these fit.

Same here. Had a set of Big Radius on my Low Rider. Called Vance and Hines and ordered a softail bracket to fit my Night Train. Mounted them and ran em for a year or so. Although V&H wasn't happy with what I was doing. They told me that they would not warranty them and suggested that I sell them on EBAY and buy a complete new set for a Softail.

Lets see now........... six hundred for a new set of pipes or 50 bucks for a new bracket. Didn't take me long to decide what to do.

I just wish i could change mine to something else, I need different pipes badly but I am broke from buying the bike! lol

Hell I would love to fit an RSD Tracker style exhaust to my Street Bob but they only make them for softails and sportsters.. and they're too expensive just to order and experiment with :icon_frown:
