So.......
My wife bought me my Vance and Hines Big Radius 2-into-2s form our 1 year anniversary.....I have a Screamin' Eagle Super Tuner (32109-08A) and I'm going to buy the Stage 1 AC from the place that does the work.

I'm am looking for opinions on places to get a tune done on my bike. I know its not a lot of work....its pretty much typical, but I'd like to get it done right the first time....and done soon!

I bought the bike at Chicago Harley in Glenview, they seemed okay. It just seemed that they'd want my business because I bought the bike there....they are very "whatever". AND...I don't know who their tuner is....they just call him "the tuner".

I took a ride to Lakeshore Harley and they were very nice and their shop was super clean. The sales man I talked to has the same bike as me with the same mods and he had it tuned there and he said its perfect.

I'm up in the air right now and open to suggestions....I want to get it done in th next week or two!

Well , I can only recommend IL Harley in Berwyn. I purch. my bike there and had extensive work done all when the bike came in. They dyno'd it and I haven't had to complain about it yet. ( 99/102) That was 03/05 though. The mech was Pat and the engine tech was Jim. Just don't know if they are still there. Good Luck. fyi , I would skip OL Harley.

 

I bought some parts at that dealer ship last month, they were very helpful and when I asked for a discount, he took off 20 percent. Ask for Mike in parts.

 

I was thinking about IL Harley too.
