Leave them on they will actually look better after they get dirty. That will let people know you actually ride your bike, not just polish it and keep it in the garage
It is your bike so why ask? Hygiene is important with white grips I would imagine. My daughter had them on her first two wheeler and they were cute with the pink and red/white tassels....those are what get back whips are called by Columbia.

I ask because I'm interested in others opinions. I've made a lot of changes to my bike and am always curious to hear peoples responses. Their responses don't necessarily drive my choices, its just helpful to hear others input at times.
