Delphi Fuel Injection

When did HD go to Delphi fuel injection and what did they have before. No problems. Just curious.

Pretty sure it was 2002. Prior to that it was Marelli.

Ran into this question myself when I bought my 01 fatty. I talked to a couple different certified techs (one from stealer and other from indy shop I go to) and they both told me that primarily the touring models used M&M injectors.

According to harleyridersguide.com "Magneti-Marelli systems were used from 1995 through 2001 and Delphi systems from 2001 to present. However, periodic updates were made to these systems."

So far so good----I have not had any issues with mine.

Here is the article for what it is worth. http://www.harley-riders-guide.com/h...idson-efi.html

Good article. Thanks. My 2009 Heritage is the first FI bike I've owned. Like the way it runs for sure. Especially since adding stage one intake, Rush slip-ons and PC V. Does great.
