Squeaking Noise in rear of bike please help

I have a 2010 Heritage. At about 700 miles a somewhat annoying squeak started in the rear end area. It seems to start after about 10 miles of driving. I put on the brakes and it's still there. I shut the motor off and it's still there.
I got the bike serviced for the 1000 mile checkup. The tech said he believes it was in the belt. He loosened it. He only took the bike for a 3 mile test ride. He believed it was solved. Understandable if he only took it for a 3 mile drive. (At this point I didn't realize it took approx 10 miles before the noise would start.)

I took the bike back to HD. Another tech took the bike for a ride. He hears the sound. He took it into the shop took off the wheel and made sure all things were greased and he said the bearings were ok. Took the bike for a ride and it's still there. He took another Heritage out a 2010 and said it had the same sound but not as bad. This bike has 5000 miles on it. The tecj said it could just be in the bike. God I hate that answer. I didn't buy a new bike to hear that answer.

I have looked the bike over very carefully. I don't see any rub marks anywhere.

Can anybody give me some logical answer to this noise. Any suggestions. What is my next step with HD>. Thanks in advance

I'd spray some belt dressing on the drive belt first. If it still squeeks after doing that then you've eliminated the belt. Next area might be the shocks but it would be rare.

did you inspect frame for areas that belt may be rubbing against.

I had a squeek awhile ago that was the shock pivots needing to be lubed. Recently had another squeek and it turned out to be an exhaust heat shild "hose" clamp bolt rubbing on the pivot bolt for the swing arm. Try jiggling your exaust and bouncing up and down onthe bike and you might get lucky and find it. Another one that troubled me for awhile was a rattle in my nacelle headlight bucket. Be patient.
