Wrong Year Owner's Manual

I just purchased a used 2008 FLSTC and after going through all the documentation and books the former owner gave me, I noticed the owner's manual that he gave me is for a 2009 FLSTC. I contacted the previous owner and he told me that's what the dealer gave him at time of purchase. It's a bit weird, isn't it? Anyway...

Should I be concerned? Are these two model years different or absolutely the same? Will the 2009 Owner's Manual provide me with the correct information for my 2008. Are the specs, features, functionality all the same between the two model years?

I received an 2010 owners manual for my 08 but I purchased the 2008 Service Manual which is much more useful

Not a problem. By the way: good looking bike.

Saddle bags changed in 09... Handlebars changed (I think).... and I heard something bout the 6th gear being changed.

The owner's manuals on these bikes are very vague to begin with anyhow..
