Default What Fuel Management Have You USED & LIKED

So this winter, one of my mods is going to be Samson True Dual 28" Rolled Edge exhaust and a Stage 1 kit. I was wondering what you guys have used. What did you like about it? What didn't you like? Did you get it dyno'd? What did you gain from that? I only want to hear you actual experiences, not you buddies, ect.

I'm a complete noobie when it comes to engine performance mods, fuel management, mapping, factory ECM settings, ect... So the more detail the better. I'm a farm boy, so my experiences are more on the side of taking something already with power and jacking it up and getting it dirty.

I know others might have more tuning ability, but VH's Fuel Pak has worked great for me. Super easy to tune, and the bike runs great.

It really depends on how far you want to go. I went with V&H F/P, because I didn't want to go that far with my engine; it's fine the way it is.

I've been happy with the Power Commander - used a preloaded setting to match my exhaust/a/c and it was plug-n-play. No pops on decel and a noticeable power boost.

I went with the PC V from Fuel Moto as well and have been extremely happy.Bike runs great. No decel pop, flat spots, more power and the bike runs cooler as well.Complete plug n play easy install. The only thing I dont like is that the unit has to physically stay on the bike.Wish you could just flash the ecu with the new settings and take it off.I have not had mine dyno tuned as it comes mapped from fuel moto with your choice of pipes and ac.Dont know how much extra I will really gain with a dyno tune as the bike runs great now.I agree it all depends on how far you want to go with the motor.

Another happy VH Fuelpak user here. Runs like a dream. No plans on the horizon to go any further than stage 1.

Default 09 Road King

strictly stock except American Custom slip-ons (run wide open - no baffle)
had slight popping on decel - using Vance & Hines fuel-pack - SUPER easy to install - factory support was adequate for me - runs great now
