I know Rush slip on's have a really good sound with the 2" baffles. So I'm looking at buying a full length performance system with 1.75 head pipe and 2.0 muffler body. they are covered by a full 2.50 chrome heat shield. carries the 1.75 baffle. they are the long 2-2 pipes that come out to the rear of the bike.
Has anyone heard Rushes full exhaust systems like I mention above or have any experience with them. how they sound or perform.
Thanks
Those look a lot like the D&D Long Rider pipes I just put on my bike. I looked around also for a sound clip of the Rush longs but couldn't find one. When I found the D&D for $220 delivered that sealed the deal and I am glad I did. They look, sound and perform beautifully.
Tslonige, your D&D do look like the rush longs. I found a sound clip on youtube and they sounded pretty good from what I could tell. Yeah you got a deal on your pipes and D&D pipes do sound real good. I love the long pipes on the cruiser bikes. Thanks
I have the rush long pipes in black and I like them a lot pretty burly looking. Good quality. Fit and finish was nice. Sound and performance is just right with the 1.75" baffles. I found them for $299 so I bought them. I only wish the were as long as the VH long shots.
I have a Brother with their shorter 2-2 system on his Fat Boy. He got black and the finish is flaking off of them. He has only had them for a few months.
Brad2064 you got a real good buy. I checked everywhere and the best price I could get was $375.00 shipped. I've always had v&h long shots so this time I wanted to try the Rush full length. My son is running the rush slip on with 2" baffles and they have such a deep throaty sound. So I hope mine with the 1.75 baffles will sound deep like his. I know the chrome on the rush pipes carry a one year warranty, so if nothing happens to the chrome within the first year then they should be fine.
