2011 Deluxe with heritage fender rails and 21 mammoths
 

Here is my 2011 deluxe. Did not attach that little screw and eventually busted at weld points and snagged front tire. Probably better to either bend forward and self tap a small screw or remove tab and clear silicone/glue so it doesn't snap after a couple thousand bumps! Waiting on new fender rail and tire now to do all over again because its a great MOD!

Just did the front for my 2012. Very easy - I used the silicone on the front tab and its stable - no issues. Next for me is the rear fender.

I know but there isn't much room between my fender, the tab and my tire. I actually started shedding the tire about a month ago and cut the tab off. It seemed stable and then eventually the welds on one side snapped and it nailed my tire and was ripped off and hanging. Could have been worse just a warning. I am putting a new one on but this time cutting tab off clean before install and then mounting some sort of bumper between rail up front and nose of fender.
