Default Best pipe

RBRacing 2 into 1 pipes have been on my hot rods for many years and perform perfectly on the road, at the drag strip or at Bonneville running WFO and setting records.

Not the kind with the ribbed heat shield. I did a Google search for Harley Davidson Sidepipes Turnout and came across the RB Racing site. The site is extremely informative and they realy seem to know exactly what they are doing and the LSR 2-1 pipe is just what I am looking for. Does anyone have these on their bike and what do you think.

I would confirm all comments already made. Excellent performance exhaust, just be prepared to wait. You see a pic of mine in my sig.

I don't mind waiting, I've only had my bike for 3 weeks. I am just trying to lay out a plan so I know where I'm going. Also doing a lot or research and asking questions here so I can make an educated decision about what I think I want and making sure what I want is going to work properly.

Just the LSR schweeps. No they didn't like it when I sent the B-style back for heat shields. I cut it off myself.

I like their 45* turnouts.. I'm plotting and planning on fabricating my own exhaust this winter and doing something like that. just not sure whether to go 2-1/4", 2-1/2" or 3" pipe.

My son and I fabed a 2-1 for his sporty, turned out nice. Got u shaped exhaust pipe from jp cycles and started cutting and fitting, used stock head pipes then added and fitted to them.
We just migged them up and it works and looks great. Not that hard to do. He painted and wrapped them.

I had the LSR 2-1 with 45 degree turn-out on my '99 FXDX; I did have the 95" kit, cams and headwork done. Normal riding the tone sounded similar to a Thunderheader. Whack on the throttle, it was a whole 'nuther animal.
As mentioned, order shields also. It's put together with slip joints, so get some black hi-temp silicone. Ask lot's of questions when you place your order, then be patient. The guy can be kind of a dick, but the pipe is a quality piece and worth the money. And setting off the car alarms is kinda' fun also. You'll love it.
