Looking to get a fatboy lo, my mustang will be paid off in december. I'm in Virginia, Can I get a better deal at christmas or just wait till spring?

 

No telling. All dealerships run their own deals....

Typically its easier to find a good deal in the colder months where there aren't as many riders.

But, I have also heard from several sources that HD is going back to ordering bikes. The dealerships will still have a few for you to ride, but they will be custom and cost more. If you want anything different, mods, colors, etc.etc..., then you will have to order your bike and wait for it to by built.

They might make a better deal on in stock bike before end of year inventory.

 

A salesman once told me the best time to buy one is when the new models are coming out or when tax time comes around to get rid of some of the inventory. I bought mine used but it makes sense to me.

 

Buy a used bike save thousands spend it on mods.....your gonna do the mods anyway !

I'd say Christmas time. No one is buying in the winter nevermind holidays and they must work on comish, so they will want to sell you the bike even more

 

You may also be able to find some 2010's left on the floor too. With the 11's out, lots of dealers throw in extra incentives for the leftovers. Sometimes, these are pretty good deals...other times not so good. Worth checking out.

 

shop around, if you know what you want a dealer will be more than happy to sell you it and even have it delivered.
One thing i found out is that the dealer you buy it from will take care of you better. some will throw in discounts for shopping there. Mine even sent me a $50 gift card.
