There are better cams out there. What year is the bike? What other mods?

A little more information on your bike (current upgrades) and how you ride (solo or two up, long scenic runs or bar hopping) would help. And what you're expectations are in a cam installation. Maybe what your future engine build include, if any (95, 98, 103, 107, etc inch upgrade and head work).

I've been running them thru a couple different motor upgrades.Good cam for stage 1 and exhaust.Pull thru 5k.You usually don't turn more than that anyway.Power comes in early. Cam it for the future if you plan on mods in another year or so.You'll like it if you live or ride a lot in the hills.

hey guys i appreciate all the responses my bike is an 02 standard with a stage 1 kit and vance and hines longshots. as far as rides i ride daily only time im not on it is back and forth to work. other than that im on it. 100 plus miles 75% of the time (luxurey of the single life!) i live in southern indiana so it is curvy and hilly where most of my rides are 95% or the time i ride solo everynow and then ill get a lady friend for a night or 2 lol anyhow as far as mods motorwise i dont plan on anything else until the time comes. just would like a little bit more power and torque in the hilly areas. heard alot of good things bout the 510's anymore advice or input would be greatly appreciated... thanks again for all the help and the continue of help

The S&S 510's will certainly work for you, but they come in a little late for my taste.
For a bolt in cam with stock heads, you might want to compare them against the Andrews 21 or 26, Headquarters 0034, or maybe a Woods T6.
I'm assuming by looking at the 510's, you're opting for gear drive vs chain drive. If that's the case, just make sure that whoever is installing confirm that the crankshaft runout is within tolorance.
Just curious, have you talked to a shop to see just what's involved when you install cams and the cost associated with it? (Fuel management, adjustable pushrods, tune, etc.)
