I know that there was a sub back from the current part number which is 54485-97, current list is $279, before the sub the list was $129............same part, different part number, I hate it when they do that!

I'll look hard for the harley part as you make a good point of trying to improve something that is proven...........thanks for the feedback!

Springers weren't intended to be used with rear suspension. It's what causes the pogo-ing. The shock was supposed to counteract that so yours must be worn out. Any new unit you can find should solve your problem.

Lil late to the party lol. Some of these guys haven't been on in over 10 years.
