I haven't nor have I heard of anyone doing it. Looks like a way for some clown to walk up to your bike and drain the fuel out of it.
I have had a self-sealing quick-disconnects on my fuel crossover line. With two sets of the disconnects, you can pop the crossover apart and connect the individual pieces of the second set to them with fuel line running to a gas can for draining the tank.
Hope some of this makes sense. LOL!

Well You Might Be Right bout The Clown Part Ha Ha.
But The Crossover Is Higher Then The Back End Of The Tank, How Can You Get All The Gas Out Try The Crossover ??

Do you really have to drain ALL the fuel? If so, just pull the rear tank mount bolt and lift the tank at the rear and inch or so to drain it thru the crossover.

I bought mine from someone on one of the forums. They can be found at a place like McMaster Carr.
