deluxe seat height
 

I know the seat height is listed at 24.5" but where on the seat does that measurement lie? Do you measure from the ground to the top of the back of the seat? Or, to the middle of the seat? My bike is 24.5" to the top of the back of the seat and 24.2" to the middle of the seat. Trying to determine if my deluxe has been lowered

dude---the 24.5" is laden (180 lb person sitting on it).....the 2006 model on HD site explicitely states this; but I didn't spend a lot of time looking for it mentioned for the 2007 model. But honestly Bro----you're measurements seem just fine to me. I don't think anyone lowered your bike .3 inches.;) But u do have me wondering how the middle of my seat to the top of the back of it is only .3 inches. That doesn't seem right as the top of the rear of the seat is much higher. Who knows? I say, just ride and enjoy

I figured it out....the bike has not been lowered it right at spec.
Thanks anyway. The sales guy had stated that it had been lowered ...and thats the reason I was trying to determine height. He was wrong.

The Deluxe has a lowering kit on the rear shocks from the HD plant.
