I am running hog tunes with the amp berried in my headlight nacelle. i mounted the speakers to my engine guards. i can hear it but not well when on the road, it would have been much better if i handlebar mounted the speakers but i did not want the clutter

Just installed the boom audio handlebar speakers on my 2010 heritage and love em. I have the vance n hines big radius and can hear the music just fine. Even at 70 plus mph. You lose the low end at those speeds but hey,you shouldnt expect car audio quality on a bike with all the other noises around you. totally recommend them. Email me if you have any other questions at captmorgan4u2@yahoo

Here is what I have. http://www.extremecycleradio.com/
My hubby and me gotten them installed in sturgis (it was first on my sportie and then moved to my deluxe). They have a radio, you can hook up your mp3/ iphone/ sat radio, and you can use a SD card (which is what I have installed with a ton of music). There is a controller just next to my turn signal, There is a small receiver mine in my windshield bag, hubby's is in his saddlebag.
I love mine. Was under $300
