Default Rear Brake noise

2006 Fatboy rear brake squeals when coming to a stop. Doesn't make noise when slowing from
high speed only just before the bike comes to a stop. Anybody else have this problem or know a solution? I've tried spraying disc brake quieter- works for a short time then the squeal comes back.

Thanks in advance for any info.

Same thing happened to mine, I had some new MEtzlers put on
and inspected the rear caliper and it needed to be rebuilt and
some new pads didn't hurt either... The Squeal just disappeared after that.

some of the cause is the design of the rotor. You can grab the rotor and flex it each way almost 1/8 of an inch! The design sets up a harmonic vibration, like a wet finger on a wine glass. Hit the right speed, and it will sqeal. My mech. suggested that when it needs replacing [or anytime really]
Replace it with a higher quality rotor with a stiffer design.
