Default HELP ! Part 2

OK, I got the heritage tore down. The 132 tooth belt will not work. apparently someone changed the front pulley to a 29 tooth from the stock 32 tooth. The Harley Hut says they did it for "Quicker Acceleration". So now I have no idea what size belt to use. A 126 tooth was on it but way to tight and it broke, so 128, 129 ? Do they even make odd numbers? I'm lost. The 132 tooth was WAY to big. so I know the 130 tooth, which it calls for stock will also be to big.why would'nt they just change the rear pulley to change gear ratio? It would have been a lot easier and cheaper! SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME !!??

It would have been easier but for the previous owner is was not the cheapest.
If the rear is still stock (please check) and the front is 3 teeth smaller than stock, you want to go with 1.5 or 2 teeth shorter than stock on the belt.

Please count the teeth on both ends. It sound like morons were involved here.

Default Figured out

Thanks for the advice "The Troupe",

I found the correct front pulley (32T) on ebay for a steal. Also, I found a Harley (Gates) 130T belt with less than a 1000 miles on it, also a steal, so I will return it to its original form for a GREAT price, (less than 100 bucks), and go from there.
I think you were right on the Morons statement...
