Heritage two-up?
First post here. Usually I'm on the Dyna section ('06 FXDi35). Here's my problem: my wife wants to start riding with me (two weeks til summer and she knows I'll be off riding often during the 2 months I get off. I'm thinking of moving up to a Heritage and wanted to know how comfortable it is for a passanger. Got to be better than my Dyna.
Any feedback would be helpful.

While I don't have extensive riding time on my Heritage yet (just got it a few weeks ago) I can give a little info. The previous owner said they went 500 miles & did fine with it. The passenger seat is a Mustang, which is about 4" wider than the stock seat. It also has passenger floorboards which helps too. They are more comfortable than the pegs.

If youre planning on riding 2up and getting another bike, take the time and look at a touring bike. Test ride both and see what you like. Not trying to push you from a softail. Touring bikes do have their advantages for 2up like dual front brakes and air shocks...

while I am an advocate of the heritage as you can see I just checked out my buddies electraglide ultra and looks to me its way more comfy for the pass. Real question is : does the heritage feel better to you or can you go with the bigger baggers handling wise , I myself didnt care for the way his bike felt when I hopped on it but thats maybe something you get used to but as for the heritage a ride around the block for me and the wife is about 150 miles here in the high country and she has yet to complain about anything (except for being hungry)
