Lol. It's still a pretty easy job. Doesn't take any special tools or anything, just takes a little longer. I think it took me around 3 hours and I was taking my time.
How did it handle afterwards? I'm looking to change mine out. It bottoms out a little too easy I have 20k on them, so I guess it's time. Looking to switch out the shocks too, but that's another story.
I like how it handles. It's a little stiffer ride, but no more nose dive when coming to a stop. I also dropped the rear 1.5" with the collars at the same time and it's definitely a stiff ride, but I love it. I do scrape my floorboards every now and then on sharp turns.

Did you install the standard "drop in" progressive kit, or the lowering version? Thx
I did the progressive drop in lowering kit. I lowered it 2".
What are the specs on your bike? Year, fork oil type and what size spacer? I have a 21 on the front with the slammer kit and the front end bottoms out on what seems like a crack in the road. But I'm at a loss and sick of tearing the front end apart. Any help would be much appreciated!
