Default Flush fuel caps on 18 slim?

Has anyone found flush fuel caps that fit the 18 slims? With the lack of parts for the 18 finding new parts has been challenging
thanks

The flush fuel cap for the Sportster would fit, but only the right side. (we put one on my wife's streetbob fxbb)
I really don't understand why they don't make them for the 18 softails.

Is it the same tank as the Fat Boy? If so, i may be able to point you in the direction of someone who can help.

See post #3

The softail fuel tank left dummy cap is purely decorative. It’s held on with double sided tape. It comes off with a counterclockwise twist exposing the base. If you twist it Clockwise, you’ll twist off the base, exposing a quarter inch deep depression on the tank.

At least a couple of us have 'grown' our own. Post included above is good place to start.

thanks for the info. One question on your method. Can’t you just use the stock dummy cap? Didn’t you basically just take it apart, cut to size and put it back on?

what kills me about this is how easy could they make a fake flush one and sale it in a kit. That’s nothing in material and it can just spin on like the current fake does. I’m think they have old stock to us up on tanks
