Who cares what others think? it's your bike? A little razzing is good for humility. I had the 28.5"'s and switched to the 36"'s before I swapped to a fatcat. Hit me up for pricing, I have the best around on Samson's.

Raddazz, that's exactly what I needed to know. I'm going with the 33". I really
don't care what anybody says besides all the knuckleheads I ride with have
plenty of s#$t I can rag on them about.
JR, I will definitely get the ones with baffles, I live in a retirement community.

DR. V-TWIN, you are right, I shouldnt give a rats azz what anybody thinks.
I've decided to go with the 33's. The Samson site shows part# S-441 for
33" baffled true dual. That sound right to you? Give me your best shot on
the price if that part# is correct. Thanks

 

I had the samson big guns 3 on my bike before. The 33 inch baffled fishtails are quieter and It feels like my bike runs a little bit better with them. I did hit the curb with them the first time I backed up and parked. Rode double all weekend and never scraped them tho.....

 

Raddazzz, I assume you're talking about the pipes in my avatar. I think you
are and to be honest I really like those pipes. The bike ran cooler than the
Vance&Hines Long Shots and I liked the style. I have them in the classified
section right now and if I didnt need the bucks to buy the True Duals I'd
keep them.
Glad you like your 33's and good to hear they dont scrape. I've had people
tell me to take it easy in the corners. Backing up will be done carefully.

Ardiver pipes look great bike looks awesome!!! Congrats man.pops2ride I had the 28.5 baffled long tails before I switched to my un baffled cholos.They look and sounded great as well.I will see if I still have some pics on my camera .And I will post them up for you tomorrow.I don't know if its my computer or what. But this site seems to be in slow motion tonight.

My wife bought an 09 Deluxe with Samson duals. Of course they used the bent shift linkage. It rubs on the blak part of the engine. Does anyone know how to correct this?

 

Trying to blow the dust off of a thread that has been dead for over a year? Mine rubs on the backside of the inner primary cover. No harm, I believe they all do that.
