have to admit I never liked the look of a 2 intio 1 exhaust until latly, now i cant stop thinking about them lol. My x bones has a 103 in it and i feel im not doing it justice with my V&H short shot stagerd im running now. I feel as if I have narrowed it down to a Fatcat, Thunder header, and the big raduis 2 into 1s (all in black of course). looking for some peoples input who have these pipes and what they recomend. And pics of course.

P.S. i love the way my pipes sound now with BCT baffels in them (nice and loud) so i am a little woried i will not like the sound as i have heard 2 into 1s can be a little quiet.

I also want 2 into 1 for my ultra, but only because it's time for new pipes and thats what I want.

I would not trade in my 2 into 2's on my softail to gain a bit more horse power unless i needed them. I can run 115mph and I can smoke my tire to a melt down as is. Don't really need more.

With all that said, it really comes down to what you want! 2 into1 fatcats sound really good and they are loud. They will also give you the best performance from an exaust stand point.

No doubt about it... FatCat!!! If I were to ever put a 2-into-1 on my bike, it would be FatCat for sure. Makes great power and not to mention sound b!tch!n !

 

I have a thunderheader. My second one. Chrome burned off the first one at 1,000 miles. Current one. Is now flaking off. I won't own another one.

My buddy had a black TH and it looked like crap after a little bit. Every TH I see either chrome or black start to look raggedy after a while. they sound killer and produce mass tq, but I dislike the styling as well. I run a fatcat on my fatboy. I dig it. Tq for days. Here is a pic of my fatcat. D&D makes top notch exhausts that provide excellent power.

Well here is my .02 and I love it !

 

Never been a fan of the straight pipes myself... for the 2 to 1, I actually prefer the Vance and Hines Big Radius.. The Curve I think gives the bike more character. Depending on your model or color-scheme would be the difference between Black or Mirrored Chrome.
