Would the stock tail light/license plate bracket from a 2006 FXSTC fit my 2007 FXSTB? I want to buy an extra one to try chopping the license plate part of, but keep my current stock style tail light.

The FXSTC part # is 59995-06A, and mine says 59995-06. But from what I can tell, they look the same. Thanks.

 

Its the same frame and fender so i would say yes

 

does the 06 have the 200 series tire like the 07 does? if it does it should fit just fine

 

06 was the first yr with the 200... whack that baby off with a saws all. If your bike isnt already lowered I'd look into getting it lowered with some bolts or if you got the cash shotgun shock. Once you whack off that plate part youre going to see alot of tire and possibly the top of the tire.

Chopped mine off and moved the plate to the side. Mine also has the HD lowering shocks on it.
