Another Cholo's question..........
So I have decided to get the Samson cholo's, now I dont know which ones to get, the 36's or 39's. I dont often ride double, I do ride daily and I am thinking of how much to lower the rear so I won't hit the pipes to much. At my job we have speed humps. If any one can get me a better perspective on which to buy I would really appreciate it. Dr V if you tune in can I get a quote please.
Thanks Memo |
I would get air ride first then the cholos..

Air ride a lil too expensive for me, will go with adjustables for now, thanks for the response
Memo They will work like adjustable shocks without the cost of adjustable shocks. I just went straight too the 39's since I have seen where several people bought several different lengths before they ended up with the 39's. I feel I made the right choice and have even thought a few times that maybe the 39's look a little short. |
Get the 39's don't worry about air ride u can get whenever. I haven't lowered my bike yet so np with pipes dragging.

You got that shit right. I have a wife, 4 kids and 2 grand daughters that think my money is better spent on them instead of me. I took the cheap way out since I don't know of any steep driveways or speed bumps that I need to go over. I ordered these. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HARLE...Q5fAccessories

I haven't gotten them yet. I just ordered them Saturday. Installing them just involves removing the factory bolts and installing the new ones. Not much too it. I plan on starting off at 1.5" lower. If the pipes still have plenty of clearance I might try 2". But 2" will probably be too low when it comes to curves. I'll have too wait and see.
