Did the HD detach sideplates, med-low sissy bar and rack on mine. Bought used on the forum for half of retail. Same with the detachable Nostalgia windshield.

Disassembled everything, did the mod to the ears on the detachable sideplates to avoid the relo kit, bought the Steel City cycles front turn signal relocation kit from ebay that made it easy to relo the front turn signals AND have a detachable windshield. Had everything powder coated Denim Black.

Looks good and as everyone else says from two-up highway, to solo bar hopper in 5 minutes.

 

Now why didn't I think of that before I put the relocation kit on? I prefer the stock wing mounts for the turn signals instead of those relocation kit post attachments. But I'm living with it. Great idea though and cleanly done.
