oil pressure
well here;s a good one for you; all of a sudden, out of the blue my heritage started having oil pressure issues. it was running fine, just like always the last 76k miles then one day last week i stopped for gas and when i started back up again the oil pressure was only 10 psi. i drove it about five miles and still no improvement. i stopped and checked to see if oil was returning to the tank and it was but it was also foamy. i let it cool down about 50 degrees and when i started it up it went to 40 psi and stayed there for the next 150 miles. yesterday it did the same thing.
today i drained and cycled out the hd 20/50 dino oil and changed filter. this time i put in redline syn 20/50. took for a test run on fwy. started out at 20 psi then moved up to 40 and stayed there. no foaming either.
has anyone had a similar case?

thanks

Foaming / low oil pressure
dr v-twin;
it's an 05 heritage; original motor was an 88b; rebuilt under extended warrantee 2k ago by independant shop; harley sent wrong parts so now it's a 96b.
think i'll pull the cam cover and check for foriegn objects; if i don't find any then i'll just run it until it dies then buy a goldwing.

I didn't know an Indy could do warranty covered work on a Harley..
What parts did they install to make an 88 in'er into a 96'er?
