Default Oil Pressure issue

I have a 94 softail custom. just back from a run and saw that i had little oil pressure. no matter what RPM it seemed to be staying at 5-6 psi. Git home parked it then started it a few days later. Oil pressure was normal for my bike. left it alone for a few more days and went to take it for a ride. While warming it up i saw that i only had about 10 psi. Once the engine warmed up it dropped to 5 psi. I took it for a quick spin and by the time i got back i had no oil pressure. No dummy light and no strange noises but there was no psi. HELP!!!!

Been having the same problem with my 08 rocker, seemed to get worse after I changed my oil.

Figured it was air in the system that needed to work out,and after a while it started to get better, the problem is the longer it ran the lower it would get and at idle it read 0.

Pulled the dipstick out and the oil was foaming, you might be having the same issue.

Used 20/50 v rated amsoil.....going to talk to my amsoil dealer about it.

Blunt: Forget about watching the oil pressure on that Evo engine. The best thing you can do is take that oil pressure gauge off the bike.

If the oil light is off, and the engine is not clattering, you have sufficient oil pressure. Your engine is fine.

I agree with Dan, if the light is out, you're good to go. I put an oil pressure gauge on my bike and it just aggravates me to see the needle sit at zero (at idle). The gauge isn't accurate, but the idiot light is.
