Mines like Drews but black. Just takes a little getting use to. I don't think you'll regret it, well your wallet might!

Living in New England, I've got lots of hills. Sitting at a red light, heading up hill, turning left is still a bitch. I find that because my foot is on and off the floor boards, shifting around while riding, I have a hard time gauging where the clutch will kick-in. Nothing scarier than thinking you're in 1st, letting the clutch out and find your shift wasn't positive enough and you're still in neutral. Almost droped the bike a couple of times! It is getting easier. I've only got about 400 miles on the setup.:icon_toast:

Just for the record mine is real and so is Lundee's ;) If you're gonna put a jockey shifter just make it the real deal brah... Once you get used to it it's all good and two up it cake so no worries ;)
As far as feel goes I prefer a boot with soft rubber lugs it really helps. http://i699.photobucket.com/albums/v...9583-1-001.jpg |

I have a friend who added a dummy to his beautiful nostalgic Fat Boy, but I can't find a picture that shows more detail on the mounting points. It would be awesome if you could make it look this good and work! |
Go for the real deal. Not as hard as you might think to get used to it...
I dont regret it! |
