Nacelle and it's risers
 

Ok, I have done some searching but have not found an answer to this.....I have an 09 Fatboy that I put the bars and risers from a 2010 Lo. After a long ride I have determined that I need the bars up a couple of inches and back probably an inch or two. Now, I would love to put a Nacelle on and have one at my disposal. the issue is I don't think the risers that HD says are needed will help me with my riding position. The question is, does anyone know if I can use the pullback/risers that HD offer, like this http://www.harley-davidson.com/gma/g...bmLocale=en_US with the nacelle? I really like the look of the bars and do not want to change that. If not, what are some options that you can offer. Thanks.

I had the HD fat riser kit on my 08 FB and they worked with the nacelle. Not sure if that helps.

Just sale me the the nacelle and it will not be a problem of yours anymore. Lol you can trim the tins a little to make it work.

Well, hmmmm. Brian, How much higher are the FB risers and do they offer a pullback of any type? Fireman, thanks for looking out for me lol!!

I would question if those would fit under the Nacelle Riser Cover that is included.

I am not sure what bars you have installed but if you want up and back maybe SB Mini Apes or god forbid some Buckhorns.

I had risers like those with the nacelle, you just can't use the riser cover provided because they will not fit over. I eventually changed the bars to incorporate the rise and pullback built into the bars. This allowed me to use a low-profile riser and nacelle top cover.

They are a couple inches higher but add no pullback.

Phantom, that looks like what I want to do. Wre there any issues with the nacelle fitting around the risers? I don't really need or want the "cover" over the risers as long as it looks finished.

I am currently using the bars and risers from a Fatboy Lo.

Also Phantom, did you have to trim the nacelle to put it on around those risers?

That setup looks great, will it work the same on a Deluxe?
