I made the jump to a Softail today!

So I recently decided to sell my 1200C sportie and shop for a bigger bike. I ended up buying a 2001 deuce with the 95" upgrade and fuel injection. It has V&H staggered long shots and a programmer. I rode it for the first time today and I love it. I hope all of you veterans out there can help me when I ask silly questions , I love working on my own stuff and it makes me smile just to wrench on my bikes. Are the 95" kits reliable and what exactly is a "tuner"? The previous owner said it's under the seat. I have not looked at it yet to know the make or model of it , I will find out this weekend when I get time to go over everything.

Congrats on the new Softail I'm sure you will like it. Don't know a lot about tuners as I've never owned a FI bike. I believe they tell the the brain box what to do as far as the air/fuel mixture and such and are needed when mods are made that effect performance. Far as I know 95" kits give reliability and have ample power for most riders.

The TC88 was built with the idea of being able to jump to 95".
