I just posted a set of the HD saddlebags on Softail parts for sale since I'm selling my Crossbones. I like the looks of them on the bike and for the price I'm asking I don't think you can beat them.

I like the bags made for the cross bones. Rigid mount, leather but rigid inside. Got a pair second hand on this site reasonable price. The only issue is you have to relocate the tailights. If the thread is still going, I'll post pic when I get back home, but I'm sure there are plenty of photos here.

it's pretty easy to do the tailights, but I don't like the replacement stems from Harley.

I also like the BB Reproductions old school hard bags although I've never owned them. Quite spendy.

I'm with swing arm bag and then strap something on sissy bar, I have bikers friend or buddy or whatever its called and it was enough for week trip to me mounted bags on a bones just don't go. To each his own. But my swing bag is enough for sure daily ridings.

I have leather pro's and love them! strong, plenty of room. you pay more but I think you save in long run due to a longer lasting bag.
